Interviewed Jan 2012 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
at first there was an online exam and the results were out after almost a month. the interview section consisted of a technical interview first, and those who cleared it were good to go through for the h.r interview. for me the tech was the best one i have ever had i was really having a good time and it lasted almost 40 minutes. i must say it was part tech n part hr. the last hr interview was however not so good, it was very short and the interviewer didn't seem to pay much attention to what i was saying. either way at the end of the day everything worked out and here i am :)

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 2 days)
I got a phone call from a recruiter who arranged an onsite interview a month later. The recruiter did not ask any questions but my background and interest. For the onsite interview, there are some behavioral questions. Most of the time, they introduce what the group is mainly doing. Some C/C++, operating systems, and brain teaser questions.

On day 1, we had a presentation regarding the details of the company and the various positions being offered.
During the presentation, they also provided the details about the compensation and benefits.
The first round, which was also on day 1, consisted of a written test which had three sections - aptitude, technical and coding.
On day 2, we had two rounds of technical interviews and one HR interview after which the qualified candidates were hired.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took 2 weeks)
Learn as much about the company as you can before your interview. Find out what they do, what they make, what kind of services they provide and determine if your skills can fit with what they do. Determine what you can offer the company. Arrange and confirm the time for your interview. Make sure you arrive early. Don't be late. Ask for directions when you confirm your appointment, if needed. Make a list of what questions you may want to ask them. More importantly, make a list of those questions you anticipate they might ask you and decide how you will answer these questions. You then are prepared how to answer them.. No other comments can be mentioned on this topic as there is nothing to say about this.

Negotiation Details
Write down all the reasons for the company to hire you. Ask if your background matches what the company is looking for. Ask if they are interviewing other people for the same position and when can you expect a decision. Ask if the interviewer wants you to call later for an update. Also, ask how long it will take before they will make a decision. Don't forget to follow up with a phone call or a thank you note. Clearly tell them you are interested if you are BEFORE you leave the interview.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Presentation, a Skills Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Redwood City, CA (took 4+ weeks)
Brutal. The initial interview steps (phone conversation with manager, tech screen on phone, in-person meeting with manager) was easy (too easy, imho), and offer step was fine, but then it took nearly a month to get final approval for the position (it has to be approved at every level of management, even up to Larry Ellison!).

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took a day)
The interview process started with them filtering resume. After they selected my resume through a college campus career fair, they called me for a one-one on campus interview. I interviewed one whole day with 4-5 teams. Each team had one or more people interviewing asking technical to general questions.
After the interview, within a week they sent me a job offer.
