Sal is below my expectations but considering I would get to do meaningful work and i get my preferred location, i accepted the offer. Its difficult to negotiate with the hiring team. They will go to an extent where they state that you can look out for a different company.. but we will give you only this much sal..

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Hyderabad (India) (took 2 days)
I had a phone screen by HR and one other peer Director over the phone before they invited me for a 1:1.
In the the 1:1, they asked me about my work till now and some HR type questions - whether i was willing to relocate from Bangalore to Hyderabad. They then scheduled a 2nd phone interview after the 1x1 and after the 2nd phone interview they called back to let me know that they had already filled the position

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Hyderabad (India) (took a day)
I have applied online for Oracle in October-2010. I got the online written invitation with a unique invitation number for PAC test. I have given the written test in November-2010. If you write 'Software Aptitude test' in Gild.com, you can crack this easily because both are same.
In April, I got the interview call for Fusion Development Operations profile and some --Consultant position -- 7lpa.
There were 2 rounds of interviews. First is 2:1 where the 2 interviewers were in second position in Oracle and they are OK with their skills. As i am from a good premier college, they were little positive on me. Even though i messed up with the interview, as i have better offer in hand, good academic background, ..etc, I was offered.
The second is 1:1 with an higher official of Oracle. He is so cool and di not touch any tech. skills :-D. He was concentrating mainly on puzzles, aptitude, attitude,..etc. He asked me the feedback of the interview. I told him: "I dont like these interviews. They are asking same questions which can be answered by an idiot who byhearted well. Those are not testing the capability, thinking skills,..etc." I hope he was impressed with that.
Tech: they asked mainly on DBMS, OOPS, JAVA as they are my areas of interest.
This profile is not good until and unless you need money badly.
All the best for yours.

There were 5 rounds of technical interview. The first interview is on database, pl/sql and some puzzles. The next round of interviews are on the same topics only. Prepare well in cursors, triggers, pl/sql pacakges and in sql queries the trademark question is 'how to delete duplicate rows'.
