Interviewed Nov 2010 in Depew, NY (took a day)
There was only 1 interview with the Production Supervisor on the 2nd shift (345 pm to 1215AM). Received a phone call from HR for a time of my choice. During the interview the Supervisor asked me a couple of questions and gave me the shop floor tour.
The position requires 8 weeks of paid training (ISO 9001, wire bonding, soldering, wire harnesses ESD and speciality electroncis areas) followed by close supervision and increased responsibility in the form of more complicated tasks once on the floor. You wear a shop coat and ESD bracelet. You are basically working through a microscope under the microscope by management.
The starting pay was reveiled to me at $10 per hour, with 1.10 raises each year like clockwork! Raises occur in phases over the year .40/.40/.30. There were some other bonuses for work accomplished and performance appraisels. Nice place to work and they are growing and you can have all the overtime you can handle.

Reason for Declining
The deal breaker was the starting pay for me ($10). With a college degree I obviously turned down the position especially since I put on the application I was making $18/ hr at my last job.
