Interviewed Nov 2011 (took a day)
The Interview was straight forward. It was a phone interview screening. During that time the questions covered the basics of Firmware and Software. The manager I talked to was polite. After each question he responded back with the answer to the question. He also explained the typical tasks that are required for the position. Afterwards he provided a list of topics to help prepare for the on-site interview.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 days)
Interviewed with the hiring manager oncampus. The interview as mainly related to the resume, academic projects etc. Almost all questions were technical. They also discussed their products and told me what I would be working on if hired. This was then followed by an onsite interview which consisted of 7 1:1 interviews. Again all technical related to ASIC design and verification.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Sunnyvale, CA (took 4 weeks)
There were initially two phone screen interviews. Onsite interview consist of 5 engineers follow by manager.
I was surprise that all engineers was asking questions in a way that they want to prove that you know nothing. There was not match between position and questions that they were asking. Typical question was
how DDR memory identify in the system? How OS knows how much memory you plugged in DDR slot?
What is the algorithm behind that? I don't know how that group was managed? All the guys were there from previous acquired company. I strongly believe that if you don't have any job then appear for this company's
interview.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Montreal, QC (Canada) (took 2 days)
The company usually conduct 4 interviews on an average. You are interviewed by leads in BC (HQ) as well as in Montreal.
My first interview was with a lead from BC, he was friendly and was mostly interested in my background. Asked me basic DSP question (If you are familiar with basic concepts this is straightforward)
This job requires the knowledge of digital design, which was the theme of my 2nd interview.
Overall, I'd say the interview process intense but not difficult.
