Interviewed Feb 2010 in Burnaby, BC (Canada) (took 4+ weeks)
The HR contacted me for the position to schedule a phone interview in the next few days. The phone interview was scheduled for 45 mins.
The interviewer asked several basic coding questions including reversing a linked list and many bit manipulation questions. Also a simple math related question at the end

I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a Skills Test.

The hiring process started with direct 1to 1interview. Three rounds of interviews were conducted by manager, verification lead and design engineer followed by telephonic and technical round with verification architect. Questions were basic digital to state machine designs and verification techniques. The verification interview round was mostly from the work the done.
Each round lasted for half to one hour. Verification architect interview covered all the technical to HR related quetsions.
Interview questions followed like logic gates to combination ckt and sequential ckt designs, FSM state machine design and block level verification experiences. Questions also came how to handle difficult situataions, debugging and interaction with clients.
