Interviewed Mar 2010 (took 5 months)
I did my first round interview on my school's campus and was invited to attend the second round interviews in Cleveland OH. They paid for my flight, hotel, etc. There was 60 other potential interns there also. Upon our arrival, PNC had a popular restaurant in Cleveland reserved so that it was just the students and alot of representatives from PNC there. We were each assigned to a table. My table included two students and two representatives and was really informal and enjoyable. The next morning, we had breakfast and then the interviews, which were very simple. Each was 15 mins and was either one representative or two from multiple departments classified under the Corporate Banking description. Also, everyone had a 30 min break between each interview because we were assigned to a group of students and had to wait at each location for them to interview also (All locations were located with one building, just on different floors). Most questions were behavioral and very simple questions. After the interview, we were served lunch and told to fill out a sheet to indicate our preferences as far as the department and the location we would like to work at. They told us we would hear back shortly and I have already heard back from my first choice so I am very excited and if offered a position, I'm sure I will take it.
