Interviewed Jan 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA (took 4+ weeks)
Submitted my resume through our school's career website. Received an on-campus interview which consisted of typical interview questions and behavioral questions. A few weeks later I received notice that I was invited for Super Day in Pittsburgh, PA. They paid for the flight and put in in a very nice hotel. They also gave a generous daily food stipend. The night before was a networking event with about 15 PNC associates answering any questions you may have regarding the company or the position. Keep in mind the interview process starts from the networking event. They do notice how you interact, are you asking good questions, etc. The next day interviews started at 8 AM. Each intern received a 1 hour slot. The Super Day interview consisted of 2 2:1 interviews. Questions asked were for them to get an understanding of your background and they also asked behavioral questions. They really wanted to make you feel comfortable and made the interview real conversation like.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA (took 1 week)
Was contacted by a recruiter; they had an old resume. Did an hour phone interview, was invited downtown for group interview. Waited a long time to be interviewed. The group interview was awkward and semi uncomfortable. You could tell they meant well though.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA (took a day)
The phone interview generally went over your resume and asked the details of your past experience, just like what did you do and how did you do it. And then ask some questions about my master degree program.
The onside interview i was interviewed by 5 VPs and each one 30min. I can only say they ask everything and different one have different style. One person asked the technical question?but mainly focus on the skills what i wrote on my resume; Another one asked some market questions, can u make a forecast of S&P500 and what is current 10 year treasury rate? I don't know the answer, so i directly told him that i have no idea. But i knew current 1y year libor rate and CMT rate. Generally the interview atmosphere is relax and they would ask you do you like Pittsburgh.
Wish these would give you some help!

Applied online, phone screen, then invited to superday in PA. Mostly all behavior questions. Had the nicest interviewers. They really calmed my nerves by first asking questions about myself, school, activities, etc.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Pittsburgh, PA (took 2 days)
Originally interviewed for an intern position between junior and senior years of college. Accepted the offer for the internship and worked for PNC over the summer. Following the 3 month internship I was offered a job to begin after I completed my senior year. Although it was not under the same manager I was hired into the same department and have never looked back.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA (took 2 days)
After submitting my resume through my school's recruiting website, I was given an initial interview on-campus. There was a reception the night before the interview, and I was able to meet the interviewers as well as other PNC employees. The questions were all behavioral and the for the most part I felt like it was more of a conversation. I got a callback in less than a week being told that I had qualified for the next round of interviews called "Superday." I have not attended this event yet, but I know that there will be a reception dinner prior to the "Superday" at a hotel. The following day will consist of 3 different interviews throughout the day. As far as I am aware, this is the final round of interviews for the position.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA (took 3 weeks)
Spoke with PNC at a University career fair and they scheduled me for a 1:1 interview the following day on campus. The first interview consisted of mostly behavioral/personality based questions related to either previous work experience or class projects. I was notified within two weeks that I was selected for "Superdays," which is final round interviews in Pittsburgh, PA. They put you in a hotel room the night before and you meet in the morning with other PNC employees as well as the other 60-80 candidates they are also interviewing. They give you a schedule with the times of your three scheduled interviews, all of which are 1:1. Again the questions are almost all behavioral/personality based questions as they just want to make sure you are a good "fit" for the company and not so worried about your technical skill as they can teach you that once your employed. The three people interviewing you are from different departments where they think you may be a good fit. They said that they will notify you within 3-7 days, however I was contacted the following day with a job offer. Overall, I would say the interview process was rather easy, however I spoke with other candidates who thought differently. My advice is to prepare ahead of time and refresh on previous group projects you worked on, including specific details and problems you encountered, as well as how you overcame them.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA (took 3 months)
The interview process began with a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. Both had the goal of determining basic skills and fit.
The next step was a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager. In this interview, she asked more detailed questions about my experiences and presented several, "How would you handle ____?" questions. While not requested, I did take a portfolio of my work samples, which was helpful.
There was a several week gap after that interview, but the recruiter maintained contact and did let me know that they wanted me to interview with other members of the team, but scheduling was an issue.
I interviewed with the hiring manager's boss and two peers, each 1:1. Questions mostly were about my experience. I did get asked how I would define the process of writing a strategic communications plan vs. actually implementing it and what books am I currently reading.
The last round of interviews was on a Thursday. Monday evening I had a call from the recruiter telling me that they were pleased with my interview and wanted me to complete a timed writing test, which I completed on Tuesday. Within two days I was the candidate of choice and was asked for salary requirements. The official offer was made the following Monday.
