Interviewed Sep 2011 in Newark, NJ (took 4 weeks)
The interview process went well.
I first had a phone interview with HR, then a panel interview with 3 peers, followed a week later with my manager. I was offered the position and accepted within a week of the last interview. Started 3 weeks later.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Salem, NJ (took 1 week)
Applied for test engineer position. Received call one week later to interview with two senior engineers. Their interviews follow STAR (Situation, Task, Actions, Results) format. Every interviewer asks same questions (i.e describe how you handled a difficult project, were you successful, what was the end result?, describe a time where you promoted safety? what actions did you take? what was the end result?) The employers emphasize this interview strategy and you must answer by telling a story

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Salem, NJ (took 2 months)
I applied online early in 2009, around February and received an email about 2 months later asking to fill out a bunch of forms. They asked general questions such as, past jobs/internships, GPA, and experiences in class. It was a bit more frustrating than other copies on account of the fact I had to sign and fill out various forms.

Interviewed May 2008 (took 10 months)
This was a long and drawn out process. Being a utility, get used to the slowness and red tape. Once you get in, the benefits are decent and the culture is ok. There is a mixed environment of people that you will work with, union and non-union.
