I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Pacific Gas and Electric in October 2009.

Interview Details – Interviewed with Dept Manager initially then with two front line workers at the same time. This was after two weeks of background checks.

The process took a day - interviewed at Pacific Gas and Electric in February 2009.

Interview Details – interview experiences vary for every job= its decentralized so it depends on the hiring manager

Normally there is a phone screen then you are called in to meet the people and the key here is

1. Enthusiasm about the company
2. Read up on recent events, prop 16 to the smart meter issues
3. have a passion for green energy

4. have some good questions about the job
5 ask to meet peers in the dept
6. finish interview wiht "any concerns about my experience" so you have a chance to save yourself
