Very basic, but also reflective of the PacSun lifestyle: beachy & fun! Hiring Manager was very easy to talk to and also happy to meet with me. I only met with one manager, which made it less stressful. They followed up with me via telephone and then I started shortly after.

No negotiation, minimum wage. I suppose if I were to be hired for a higher management level position, there could be some negotiation as far as hourly wages.

I turned in my application (make sure you do not fold yours), and checked up on it very frequently. A couple of weeks later I was called for my interview. I was called on a Saturday, my interview was the following Wednesday. It was an easy one on one interview. She asked me questions about customer service: "What store have you experienced great customer service." "How would you know what kinds of items to show to a person" "Are you comfortable randomly going up and talking to people" etc. It was a very chill interview. It kind of felt like we were just hanging out and talking. It only took about 15 minutes.
My interview was on a Wednesday, she had to send in my background check. My background check came back in the following Tuesday, and I was offered the job.

She asked me questions about my background, and specific questions such as "How would others describe you" and "Name three staple pieces for the wardrobe this season"

The interviewing process was very easy going. Just asked a few questions, I remember one of the questions asking if I would give my friends a discount if I worked there. I worked seasonal, so all I learned was to greet, fold clothes, and whatnot. Was very boring once the store was slow because you can only make the clothes look so good hanging up.
