Interviewed Oct 2011 in Winter Park, FL (took 3 days)
I came in and there were 2 people asking me questions about my past experiences, what I did in certain instances during my other jobs. I honestly thought I bombed the interview but I did well and got the job.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I applied online and a few weeks later I was called on the phone for an interview. The interview was set up for the very next day. I went in the store and told the cashier that I had an interview and she offered me a drink and showed me where to sit while she went to grab the manager. The interview process basically just consisted of one of the assistant managers going over the application with me and just asking me general questions to get a feel for my personality. The interview process usually consists of 2 interviews with 2 different managers before you are offered a position but my interviewing manager liked me a lot and hired me on the spot.

Negotiation Details
Try to negotiate your hourly pay if possible, especially if you have previous experience because raises are very hard to come by.

Interviewed Mar 2012 (took 3 days)
The interview went pretty smoothly, the setting was a bit laid back but I feel like it was a test to see how you could handle having to perform in a busy environment. The general questions were asked and they seemed very passionate and dedicated when it came to representing the company.

Negotiation Details
For the negotiation process you just have to be very firm and be clear about what it is you would prefer otherwise you will be very unhappy with the outcome.

Interviewed May 2012 (took a day)
(The actual process took a couple of hours before it opened)
When I drove by one night, there was a Panera Bread restaurant in the works for a grand opening and I happened to notice a "Now Hiring" sign. As soon as I got home, I applied RIGHT AWAY. In the morning (around 10 am if I recall) I got a call from the manager and ask if I could come then next morning at 7:30 am.; I accepted. The following day I went to the interview and I was the very first to be interviewed. The manager seems nice at first but as soon as he got me to answer questions, he was concerned about my lack of eye contact (I didn't mean to lose contact). Then he talked about my work history. Because I haven't had employment *cough* he suggested that I should go to a job agency to help me get a job. What I think is that he was being rude and making me real nervous, which I hate. When the interview was over, he said that I'm not qualified to work here just because I had no experience. I'm sorry but he is a jerk. He doesn't deserve to be manager.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in San Jose, CA (took 3 days)
I first applied to the job online and waited about a week to receive call back. I received the call and scheduled an interview. Once there they asked simple questions such as what you can bring to the table at Panera Bread, or questions about your former job. He also asked if I could make deliveries but I declined because you have to take your own car unless they have a delivery van. The whole interview was very short and only lasted about 10 minutes.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 2 days)
I applied online at Panera Bread.com not even thinking they would call me cause I didn't know if they were hiring or not. 2 days later a manager called to set up an appointment with me. Went in for the interview and he didn't even ask questions. Just asked my availability and how much did I want to get paid. The next day they called and offered me a job. I accepted.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
I applied online for cashier position. Two weeks later received a phone call to schedule interview for the following friday and 10 am. I showed up to the interview with black pants and a nice dressing shirt. Show people was wearing jeans and sneaker, wasn't very professional if u ask me. The interview process was 1 on 1. My interview took place with the manager and general manager. They asked you why panera bread? do u have customer sevice skills? can you handle an agry customer? The interview was straight to the point with the questions. I answer each questions to the best of my ability. After all the questions, I was offered the position on the spot but they told me exactly what my position entitles. I will be making coffees/teas. I will be delivered people their food at their tables and cleaning up after they finish their food. I will be cleaning the bathrooms for the customers and making sure it stay stock with tissues etc. Than they offered me a salary of 8.00 an hr when i was getting paid 11.00 at my prior job. They took cashier and turn it into a janitor, barista jobs all in one. Instead of hiring the people specialized in those positions. I turned the job down because all that work doesn't qualify as a cashier position especially not at 8.00 an hour.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I turned down the job because it wasn't a cashier position after all. It turned out to be get a person to do janitor work, barista work and ring up customer for 8.00 an hour instead of hiring people for those positions. Panera bread takes advantage of their workers because cashiers isn't suppose to clean bathrooms.
