I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Paper Source (Princeton, NJ) in Mar 2009
Interview
I submitted an application online through Craigslist. After a couple of emails back and forth I secured a phone interview and then a 1 on 1 interview with the Hiring Manager who flew in from Chicago to do interviews. I was selected to move on to interviews with the Regional Manager and COO back to back on another day. (They also flew in for their interviews.) I received an offer very shortly therafter. Be sure to dress creative bussiness casual for your interview. Take samples or photos of your recent creative works to the interview. Take creative license with your resume and cover letter to get their attention and secure an interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Paper Source (Boston, MA)
Interview
Recruiter reached out to me via Indeed. Set up phone screening for next day. Had a great initial conversation. Was asked about salary expectations, and after trying to avoid answering I gave a range. About and hour later received email stating that the max for the position was under the bottom number of my expectations. Was surprised given what was listed here, and ended up withdrawing my application.
Paper Source is an amazing company to work for, and I'm thankful to be apart of this amazing family. The interview process is pretty standard a phone interview with the recruiter followed up by an interview with the Regional Manager and then normally an interview either in person via phone with the COO. -- But this is only for the store manager role. My advice is to make an impression and be open-minded, a great personality cannot be learned.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Paper Source (Santa Ana, CA)
Interview
A recruiter contacted me for store manager position thru indeed. She said she had read my resume and was interested in speaking to me regarding the position. Scheduled a phone interview. Very rude person. Unprofessional was eating the whole time she was speaking to me. Asked me about my current role as a store store manager. I have more than 10 years in management. But because my store didn't have 3 million annual revenue, she cut me off immediately. I'm currently at 1.2 million. She offered me a sales lead position. I'm a store manager why would I want a sales lead position? Didn't give me a chance to talk about my experience, and proven track record. Stay away from this company! Very cocky recruiter.
