Parallels Senior Accountant Interview

Talked to recruiter for Sr. Accountant position (I am an MBA) - she phoned me. One of the questions she asked I found inappropriate was " am I Russian". Nevertheless I agreed to an Interview, since I waited one year for an opening for Accounting position at this same company. I met with 4 members of the team - AP Manager, International Acct. Mgr, US Acct Mgr, and Director of Accounting for both US and International. The interview went well with all, but the US Mgr, who was not interested to find out what I can bring to the table and my match with their requirements, but to find something that I am not familiar regardless if its required for this position. I sent thank you letters and was told to wait after the Holidays. No one called and had to phone the recruiter. She said she doesn't know if I am their choice, but few hours later e-mailed me that they picked someone else. Something was very wrong in this whole process. It was rude for interviewing someone for 4 hours and not making the effort to let them know about your decision, so they can go with their plans. If you plan to apply at this company please make sure you find more inside info first - they seem not to like minorities.
