The interview consisted of a sit down with a member of the HR team and a manager of their sales engineer department. Very calm atmosphere. One of the interviewers grabbed his pen and asked me to sell it to him.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
Panel interview by 9 individuals. Interviewing individuals included Hiring Manager, Hardware/Firmhare/software Engineers, Project Engineer(Contract), Mechanical/Packaging/Engineer, Principal Sytems Engineer, Huamin resource manager.
Interview lasted for about 2 hours. The basic questions were 1) How do you think you can contribute? 2) Why are you chosing to leave current position? 3) What Project Management experience do you have? 4) How do you manage schedules?

Hiring manager contacted for a phone interview and asked basic job/ interest questions. Next, a panel interview was scheduled . Panel consisted of about 4 senior engineers and an HR person. Interviewers were very friendly and the conversation was casual. It was my first job interview and I was nervous. Interview was done in a conference room. I reached their 10 minutes early but took them about 30 minutes to get together for the interview. It seemed everyone was super busy.

Phone call from two different recruiters. The first interview went really well, typical top interview questions. However the second interview was with a different manager. He set up a time to do the interview, he called 22 minutes early. The entire conversation seemed distance, as if he didn't even want to do this interview.

Easier interview. Basic behavioral skills interview, personality fit. They seem to care for the brightest individuals from the best colleges, but they do select people based on fit.

Interviewed by HR person, controller and the VP of finance. Asked to rate my ability in Excel on a scale of 1 to 5, asked about prior experience and why I was qualified for the position. Interveiw was professional and an overall positive experience. I was notified by mail that I didn't get the job within 2 weeks.
