Had a phone screen by site HR person, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager, and was later invited to a site interview. The site interview consisted of an interview by the HR Manager, and was followed by a panel interview with the hiring manager and two of his peers. The panel interview consisted of a mix of behavioral interview questions, and technical questions. Things got pretty strange during the interview with the site Director. Throughout the interview, the Director asked very few questions (I counted four), yet he was very chatty about his career aspirations, background, etc. He found it necessary to use a lot of obscenities during the discussion. I felt like I was at a coffee shop in a truck stop, rather than talking to someone who is a step away from a VP position. It was definitely not professional behavior, even if he was trying to shock me for some reason. I was more impressed by the other managers at this facility than their leader.
