Interviewed May 2011 in Purchase, NY (took a day)
I must say that everyone I met were every nice and pleasant. The interview took 4 hours give or take. It was a series of one on one interviews starting from the VP, Director, Manager, etc. Almost all questions were situational ("tell me about the time when...") questions.
Overall, I had a great experience, however, it took them almost a month to get back to you for the result. The like taking their time.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Purchase, NY (took a day)
PepsiCo hires around 20 marketing analysts each year, 10 MBAs, and around 10 undergrads (at target schools like Penn, Stern, Yale, Harvard, etc). Interview was 30 minute long with a brand manager. Mostly asked fit questions, and run-through of your resume. Do your homework! Make sure to know about Pepsi's past ad campaigns... they will ask questions such as "What's your favorite TV ad at the Superbowl" This is easy if you've given thought about it (or if you even watch the ads at all).
After 30 minutes, I was offered a second round interview. Then an offer was made.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Purchase, NY (took 5 days)
Met with the hiring manager and thought it went well. I believed he really liked me. The second person to interview me seemed like she felt I was too much experience even though this was a contract job. I would think you would want experience for a contract job. Both individuals were really nice to me and the conversation went well.

Interviewed May 2008 in Purchase, NY (took 2 days)
PepsiCo was very hands-on in terms of following up and letting me know the upcoming steps in the interview process. They were very friendly both on the phone and in person. When I went to interview at their HQ in Purchase, NY, I first met with a recruiter. She was very friendly and asked questions regarding my background and what I was studying, less technical questions. The next day I went in and interviewed with four senior-level people in the Internal Reporting department. The first was my acquaintance at the firm, so she and I discussed the internship and I wasn't grilled on anything. The next three however were very curious as to why I wanted a summer internship with PepsiCo when I wasn't an accounting major, and I reassured them that I wanted the position because any job is a learning experience and both PepsiCo and I would inevitably gain from it. All in all, not too stressful, but they care about quality people, so make sure to do your homework before coming in for an interview.
Also, forgot to mention the drug test and background check they do on all potential employees.

Negotiation Details
I was able to negotiate because the recruiter asked me at the end of our meeting what salary I was expecting, and also what I had been paid at my previous job. I made sure to include a request for a higher salary so as to cover the transportation costs that arose from a 1.5 hour commute each way. They were very accomodating. Being polite but firm is the best way to go with PepsiCo.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
