Interviewed May 2010 (took 8 weeks)
I have a lot to say about Perceptive Software but I will keep this brief. Sometime around May of
last year I saw a posting on Careerbuilder for a Product Support Engineer. I applied for the position
a few days later I received a phone call from HR.
* Had phone interview, went well
* was ask to come in and take written test, did well
* was brought in for face to face interviews with 2 team leads, went very well
after speaking with the 2 leads I interviewed with their manager, went OK
I was given the .. we will let you know in about 2 weeks line ..
* 3 weeks later I had not heard I contacted the HR person and was told that they are
still in the interview process but I was still in the running, they would be in touch
* 2 weeks later still no work, I contacted HR and was told that the managers were out of town
on business.
* Another 2 weeks still no work, once more contacted HR and was told they will be making a
selection soon, I was still in the running
* About 10 days later I receive an E-mail saying that they were moving on with another candidate
* I have noticed that the same job posting still runs about every 2 - 3 weeks on the job boards.
** Any current or former employee care to offer any input? ***

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Shawnee Mission, KS (took 3 months)
Began the interview process with trading phone calls In November with HR. Got invited in December to come in for a basic test consisting of scripting logic, how I would respond via email to a costumer, and questions over other basic IT knowledge. After this, I was invited back to talk to my would be bosses, who were really nice, and seemed to have a personality match with. Was told to wait about two weeks and would hear back from the HR rep. Two and half weeks later into January had to call back and was told by the HR rep that I would be offered a position but didn't want to commit to that, and also that I was second on their list to fill a couple of positions available, and I should wait two more weeks. Asked if I could be bumped off their list at this point, was told no, could only be bumped down. Two weeks passed, no phone call, come to find HR rep is ignoring any inquiries.
In a nutshell, people seemed nice, interviews were relaxed and be prepared for a general IT quiz. Take any word from their HR with a grain of salt.
