Interview Details – The hiring process was very good...I had complete clarity on what was going on. the technical rounds were also in depth & challenging. The client round also was sufficient to understand their offerings, but you have to haggle a lot in the HR round for your salary structure.
Overall a good experience, but do not sell yourself short here.

Interview Question – Most difficult was to answer this "If the domain password gets updated in India, how long does it take to replicate in the US site?"   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – I was able to negotiate a bit higher than what they offered, but they do not give you much of a difference than what is offered, try heavily to cut costs

Interview Details – Written Round which included around 50 questions on various topics such as OS, DS, General Aptitude, Databases and a Data Structure program to be written.

Those shortlisted from Written had to face Technical Interview.
Asked to rate yourself on various technologies on a scale of 1-10 and based on that questions were asked.

May be asked to write small programs and simple Database Queries.

After Technical you have HR round.

Interview Details – Online Test ( Apti +Essay writing+ 1 program ) + On site Technical Interview( 2 interview) + HR Interview

Online Test ( New Pattern) consists of question from almost all subject of computer science
and not just maths. Also if they are recruiting for Software Tester Be prepared for Testing related questions. Basic Electronics 50 % questions will be c, C++, Java concepts , Graph theory , Algorithms (Basic + advanced) also few questions from basic electronics were also asked. Also remember the complexities by heart , traverse of trees there sure will be questions on these topics.

for maths Solved problems from R.S. Agrawal are enough.

(Time about a minute per question 60 MIN)
   Essay writing (10 minutes)
       choose one topic from 2 or 3 subjects
               Mine was "India Land of opportunity"

  Programming writing (30 minutes - No optional)
          You just have to write it in text box without compiling they will assess code themselves)
        Also this program have importance in your interview also so prepare the code u are writing there , even if it is not right or optimum prepare one proper solution before going to the interview. They will definitely ask you to explain your code , correct or may give slight variation also.
          My problem for programming was
           " A novice programmer have written all the code in single line. Write a c/java program to properly indent code at opening and closing braces new line and conditional statements."

About 180 -200 student were present for APTI they shortlisted they shortlisted 16.

Technical Interview were held at Persistent Systems campus

    ============= There will be 2 technical Rounds==========

           Both rounds are carried out by one of their on site developer

    They will ask u questions about Your projects ( Not only BE , but past also)
    if u are mentioning something on resume be sure u know it. They will ask u anything about ur project ur role etc.
   Also prepare Data structures thoroughly ( Lists ,queues ,Stacks , Heaps and all their variations with coding (in c/java)).

    Prepare RDBMS concepts ( DDL, DML, DCL , Joins self joins , Normalizations)
    They may ask some puzzle or programming problem also.
          I was told to write pseudo code for addition operation without using + operator or any ASM code.
      or general puzzles like cutting cake etc.

       Also prepare for basic interview questions like about urself , why persistent ,

Technical Interview will be through they do ask all sort of questions.

Each Technical Interview was about 45 -60 minutes.

  After 1 TI 8 students were shortlisted

  After 2 TI only 3 students were shortlisted

After That HR was conducted. It was formal and easy. very basic question ( 10 minutes max)

At the end of the day 3 Students were placed with 3.55 L/Annum package as a Developer.
