Thirty minute phone interview followed by a one hour face to face interview with one manager. Offer was drafted quick. Drug test and background check are required. They are big on employees having a degree. I wore a suit and tie but most employees wear a button down and slacks.

Questions about job knowledge and skills, and past work experiences. In particular, information in order to reveal how to behave in certain work situations. Technical interview was tough, touching pretty much all aspects of Java development.

Pretty ridiculous waste of my time! I was not looking for a job; their recruiter called me. I told her I was not interested in a lateral move. She told me that the job was posted as a lateral move, but that they were considering me 'high potential' and that it would a management opportunity. This interested me, so I took a phone call appointment with the hiring manager. He told me the same story and that I should come in to meet with him. I accepted. After a two hour interview, he offered me the lateral move and told me he would never hire me as a manager without management experience. Hello?! I told you from minute one that I would never consider a lateral move into your firm! Thanks for wasting hours of my life that I can never get back!

Went in for one on one interview. I went over my resume with the hiring manager and explained what I had done before. It was an entry level internship so the questions were not too intense or intricate.
