I interviewed for the interim ASM over the phone, was given the job and heard nothing else.I was told I would get a chance to interview for the actually job in a month, which was 6 mths later.

The assistant manager interviewed me on phone which went really well. Some common questions related to sales, then she invited me to a face to face interview the next day, it took about 20 minutes, The manager asked me some questions then we had some role play in the store. I'm really satisfied with the process of interview, they were very respectful and professional. Still waiting for their call. Hope to get the job. I really love working there.

A simple, yet long interview that consisted of meeting other employees, 1 on 1 with the store manager and some role playing. Very nice people and a relaxed environment. The role playing consisted of a few basic scenarios: how would you coach an associate that is not offering the store credit card? what would you say to an associate that has repeatedly come to work out of dress code? Just be relaxed and prepared to role play! The pay seemed pretty low. around $14/hr with no overtime, however when you consider the overall volume of the store, it is on par with other retailers.
