Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
This was for a Biotech Regulatory Affairs internship position.
It was 4 back-to-back, half hour long interviews over the phone. They asked primarily behavioral questions such as "describe a dispute you have had with another individual" and "describe a situation where you bent the rules to accomplish something and failed". However, they would sometimes ask the same exact question on different interviews or some slightly modified version.
Overall, the interview was a bit exhausting (2 hours, 4 people, repeat questions) but the people conducting the interviews were very friendly and professional. Although I didn't get the offer, I received a call back from the manager who thanked me for my time and gave me a bit of feedback (with some well-placed questions of course!) as to why they hired the candidate they did.
Judging the friendliness of the staff, I get the impression that these people are happy where they work and I will apply for future positions with Pioneer Hi-Bred.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Johnston, IA (took 2 months)
Typically the company is very slow at getting back to candidates. It takes weeks sometimes to get them to call you back and they only call the top 10%. There were over 100 applicants for the position I applied for. I was asked a lot about my technical experience. I was asked a lot about problem solving skills that I had and why I wanted the position.

Interviewed May 2010 in Johnston, IA (took a day)
The communications process to start was largely through the website. Be warned - a lot of the job positions listed are 'honey pots', not necessarily jobs that they are looking to require immediate staffing but a way of collecting resumes for future openings. (The jobs needing immediate staffing are also listed elsewhere, like Dice.)
The tone of the interview was a bit surprising - mostly questions asking to whether or not I felt the position would be challenging enough. After discussions with the larger group my interest in that specific group quickly waned.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Johnston, IA (took a day)
Interview was casual, with the interviewer asking many thought provoking questions to make sure you can solve problems and work with other people. Some hypothetical questions were also asked, some of which didn't really make sense, but it seemed like they were basically trying to see your thought process.

Interviewed Mar 2008 (took 3 weeks)
It started with a simple phone interview, with questions regarding most recent projects and results. Very little emphasis was given to the technical aspect, change management was of prime interest.
2 Weeks after the phone interview, there was a on-site interview with a presentation to explain any project from start to finish with tangible results, without any questions regarding the project.
They may have already selected an internal candidate, with this being a dog n a pony show.
