I interviewed through college or university. The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Polaris Management Partners in October 2013.

    Interview Details

Got selected by a campus recruiter for 2 on campus interviews, one was interpersonal/behavioral and the other was technical/professional. The first was conducted by an employee who played the "Good Cop Role", while the other was conducted by one who played the "Bad Cop Role". Questions were pretty much typical to interviews, nothing surprising. However, when it is your turn to ask questions, keep in mind that your questions will be used against you. In other words, after the do not answer your question fully, they turn around and ask you the same question from the company's perspective.

After the interview, you will be left with the possibility to be called in for an "official" interview at the company's HQ within two weeks.

    Interview Questions
    • For example: You ask "Which skills and characteristics would be utilized by the company in such a position?" The answer you will get would be from your own resume, leaving you somewhat stunned; trying to dig deeper within yourself quickly to answer with something they don't already know.   Answer Question

Interview process was very involved - 3 rounds plus a phone screen. It was a great way to meet several members of the team, and understand exactly what I was potentially signing up for. I was glad to see how seriously the management team took the process.

I interviewed through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Polaris Management Partners in May 2010.

    Interview Details

Standard consulting interviews with several light-weight case studies, including some requiring calculations.
The twist was a presentation to be prepared the night before the final round of interviews.
In the presentation, one or more of the audience will play roles challenging you on assertions, seeing how you handle a heckler, etc.
