Interviewed May 2012 (took a day)
Went in to pick up an application. Turned in the application on a Friday. Called the following Monday. Interview was two days later. There were three other people in the interview. Asked basic questions about..like our past jobs, any customer service history (if so, any irate experiences), what your previous boss would say about you if used as a referral, etc. Reading these reviews on glass door definitely helped. Wore khaki pants with a belt, and a ralph lauren polo tucked in. Just be personable and present yourself well. Make eye contact and use other basic interview skills.

Interviewed May 2012 in Orlando, FL (took 1 week)
Suprisingly applied on craigslist on a anonymous ad. was called in for a interview, i thought it was going to be a 1:1 but came in to a group interview. He asked a few questions scenarios, like why did you like your last job, would your boss hired you if you wanted to be rehired. things like that if. it helps if you look the person interviewing you in the eye. they will feel as though your are not intimidated. then at the end you were given a card so that you could take a personality test. Take that test before the evening of the same day. Then i was called back again the next day for a one on one interview, it came to be that i was interviewing with the store manager. Usually they are really laid back. and since this one was he asked about my previous jobs and what i liked and didnt like. be honest they want to hear it but dont be rude about what you didnt like at your last job. He told me that he wasnt going to be hiring for a few months. and that he would forward my app and res to his Hr and DM. well low and behold i got a call back. It seems as though if you are straight forward and well presentable they will take you. Just black pants and a nice blouse will do and closed toe shoes.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
First i will like to point out that i really wanted this job at Ralph Lauren because i always loved there fashion and how classy it was. this site really helped me get the job and succeed. i applied online and about a week and half later i got a call asking if i would like to come in for a group interview. I went to the group interview i was a little nervous, you don't wanna seem loud and rude just be yourself and have a answer for everything they ask. I was interviewed by the GM and the GM seemed pretty tough but they knows what they want. she asked a bunch of questions and 2 weeks later i got a call offering by a job as seasonal so i worked hard and they kept me for part time.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Allen, TX (took 2 days)
It was really easy, applied online and within 2 weeks they contacted me for a group interview. The group interview lasted for about 30-40min. In my opinion they will pretty much hire anyone who was the "Polo Look" tall, good-looking, slim body, and with a good sense of style. But the overall environment is really chill and all the other employees are very friendly and nice.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Charlotte, NC (took 3 weeks)
The interview wasn't bad. They ask general questions like where you've worked before/describe a time you succeeded. There was only one interview, then 3 weeks passed no word, so I assumed I didn't get the job. I got a call finally and they offered me the position. It's not hard to get hired here.....but once hired I got almost no hours, noticed that many employees got preferential treatment and felt judged. I worked mostly by myself with little product/policy knowledge and did not enjoy it so I quit. It may not be like this everywhere, but don't expect a perfect dream job when hired at this company, as they over hire and expect most new employees to quit shortly after being hired.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took a day)
Group Interview lasting 3 hours. Mostly giving the group a tour of the store and history of the company. Afterwards, the GM asked everyone random pointed questions about our retail and customer service experience. Overall, I got the impression that it's a great place to work although you have to be aggressive to make commission.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Sunrise, FL (took a day)
I got called in for an interview with the store manager. She described the company, asked me questions about my application and work history. Very casual. Do dress up, however. Wearing Polo or Ralph Lauren items is not a plus; no one particularly cares as long as you're dressed up.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 1 week)
Apply in-person, usually talk to a manager when you complete your application, either they schedule you for a group interview that day or call you within a few days to set up time that is best for you. If you pass the first interview, they will call you in a few days and set up a 2nd interview which is more of an orientation where you watch videos about the company. Very easy interview. Being that you are applying for a retail position. DO NOT COME OVER DRESSED. Do not wear a suit and tie and business casual like I said it is a retail position where you usually where a collared shirt and jeans. Wear either that to the interview or at most a button-up shirt.

Was not very impressed with the atmosphere, it seemed a little stuffy and the people unapproachable and a little snobish.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Vero Beach, FL (took 2 days)
Typically they do group interviews when hiring people. However, I was given a one on one interview. Make sure you are dressed well and you speak well. It helps if you know a foreign language.
