Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 4 weeks)
The first interview was with an internal headhunter to ensure that I would fit the position of Inside Sales.
The second interview consisted of a one on one interview followed by a group interview followed by a video conferencing interview.
Waited 2 weeks and stayed in touch with the recruiter and got an offer letter

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
Interview quickly shifted toward writing some code on the fly. Stupid questions about how to code in C. What, a salary and title history, and a diploma get me the right to be grilled about something I did back in CS 101? This is horse droppings and is insulting. I cut the interview off when it started going this way.

Interviewed Jul 2009 (took 2 months)
I was already an employee of the company and was applying for a newly created position. The process was quite long because the company requires that all positions be posted for a minimum of 30 days before they will allow any interviews to begin. They also require that outside sources be presented with opportunities as well rather than giving existing employees a first shot at a new position. The interview occurred several weeks after the posting time had expired and then several more weeks passed before any decision or offers were made.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in San Jose, CA (took 3 weeks)
Interviewed with 3 HR folks, the hiring manager (phone and in-person) and 5 other team members (all but one via teleconference). They insisted on having a full list of references before I even walked in for the first interview. It was exhausting, and I received very little feedback after the interview. I wouldn't have minded so much if they hadn't asked for my references up front. One of the team members started off the interview with this question "why would you even want this job?" She seemed very negative. All of the team members talked about insurmountable problems - I think for some it was almost a venting session.

Interviewed May 2010 in Broomfield, CO (took 4 days)
I was contacted by a recruiter about the job. We started with a phone screen, then I went to the recruiter's office for an interview. The actual Polycom interview started with a phone screen with the hiring manager, which was entirely behavioral. The hiring manager was very forthcoming with information about the business and precisely why they needed a new project manager. Questions centered took the form of, "What would you do in <situation x,y,z>?"
The onsite interview was conducted amongst 4 interviewers, one at a time. It was, again, mostly behavioral: "How do you resolve conflicts?" "How do you decide who needs to be on a team?" "Why do you want to work here?" Some of it was knowledge-based: "What is the difference between a user story and a use case?" "What is Scrum?"
Every interviewer asked nearly identical sets of questions. All but one were very cordial, listened well, and went out of their way to understand how my experiences could translate into Polycom's environment. They were also very forthcoming with information about Polycom. One interviewer seemed uncomfortable with the interview, and sometimes took a combative tone; I got the impression he didn't want to be there. Overall the interview was easy and enjoyable.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in San Jose, CA (took 2 weeks)
Said I was a top candidate, sent me through two rounds of interviews and then nothing. No phone call, no email telling me the outcome of their decision. Very unprofessional. Glad I didn't end up with them. Who would want to work for a company that does this to people?

The interview process was seamless working through Robert Half. The hiring manager and sales manager conducting the interviews seemed great...people you would want to work for. Soft skills were more important than specific technical skills.
