    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at Portugal Telecom in April 2010.

    Interview Details

Was referred through a college alumni, did a total of 3 interviews with an outside agency, a HR director and a few people I'd be working with.

    Interview Questions
    • Why I wanted to join up. It wasn't the most glamorous of positions, or the best of timings given the start of the economic crisis. I knew I was taking a gamble, etc.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
Very little flexibility in terms of negotiation. It's almost as if they were stuck in the 80s, loads of meaningless "perks" that were clearly negotiated by the unions and had no monetary value. A word of caution: beware the "complements", they can be taken away if you're shuffled to another company inside the group.
