Interviewed Feb 2010 in Battle Creek, MI (took a day)
I found out about this position after applying for a job at a company in Chicago, who forwarded my resume to the hiring manager here. Since THEY contacted ME first, I thought I was going to be a shoe-in for the job. WRONG! When I finally did get interviewed there, they made me feel like I was being interrogated by the CIA! The way they have their screening process set up, Jesus Christ Himself wouldn't be able to get hired into the place. If I never consume another Post product again for the rest of my natural born life, it won't bother me one bit. And I've been telling everyone I know that if they ever call you up and want you to go interview with them, DON'T...unless of course you actually LIKE being made to feel like you're about three inches tall!
If I ever show up at another job interview and they tell me at the beginning that they're going to use the "STAR" technique, I will get up and walk out right then and there. I want to work for a company or institution that want to hire people based on their merits...NOT by how big of a line of BS they can spin!
