Interviewed Nov 2011 in East Hartford, CT (took a day)
Brief phone interview, then invited on site. Interviewed individually with about 6 or 7 people, and gave a presentation. Everyone was friendly, with most questions being along the lines of what I wanted to do, not what I could do for them. A couple technically challenging questions during the presentation.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Hartford, CT (took 4+ weeks)
Received an appointment for an interview in Pratt & Whitney's Hospitality Suite in the 2011 Anaheim, CA Society of Hispanic Professional Engineer Conference. First interview went well and was invited to Pratt & Whitney's Super day (2 weeks later) where I received my second interviews and had an offer within another 2 weeks.
All the faculty were welcoming and kind. When I was invited to Pratt & Whitney's headquarters in Hartford, I smiled and laughed a lot with my tour host and interviewers. We even had lunch together and I sincerely had a good time.

I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Farmington, CT (took 2 days)
I first met Pratt and Whitney through the United Technologies booth at National Black MBA Conference. Second round following the first meeting - had two interviews with four people (2 each). Unfortunately, for this position, though they say they hire people without engineering backgrounds, that is what they are looking for in the position.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in East Hartford, CT (took 2 days)
The initial communication was through a college recruiting event. After review of my resume, I was offered a 1st interview with a panel of 4 current engineers. The interview process was 45 minutes long and included questions about my past history as well as situational questions. After the interview, I was offered a position within 48 hours. I went back for a second, full day interview for job placement within the company. The workplace culture seemed relaxed with an emphasis on further education, work ethics, and completing work tasks in a timely manner.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in East Hartford, CT (took 3 weeks)
I talked to a representative at a career fair at my school, and was offered an interview a few days later. A couple of weeks after, I was asked to do a second interview on site at Pratt & Whitney. They reimbursed me for travel expenses, and I got to meet with people that I would be working with if I took the job. They even took me to the customer training center and museum to see a bunch of the engines. It was a lot of fun, and not very much pressure. Everyone was very nice.

Posted for a job on internal job posting board. Two interviews were required, starting out with a panel interview then moving onto a one on one with my future manager.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in East Hartford, CT (took a day)
The initial interview was on site at my college. It was personality type questions and also questions to help understand the program. A few months later there was an onsite visit. The onsite visit was an interview with the program manager, a manager in the area you might work in, and lunch with employees currently in the program. You will also get a shop tour.

Standard interview process, spoke with the manager and several of the departmental engineers. I received a tour of the labs and got to see some pretty neat hardware. All in all it was a good experience.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Hartford, CT (took 2 days)
Interviewed 5 attorneys and 1 patent agent. The patent agent worked for them. The patent agent position did not look very attractive to me. While my expertise was exactly what they needed, and years of patent work, two of the attorneys clearly looked down at me and at the patent agent working for them.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in East Hartford, CT (took a day)
It was a pleasent intreview process.
One guy was assigned to me, who was my guide for the entire day.
There consisted of 5 1:1 interviews with managers of different departments. Techincal questions along with HR questions were asked. The process was good and you immediately feel comfortable in that environment.
Also had a 30 minute technical presentation at the end. They asked some intuitive questions. Overall it was a really good experience.
