Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 1+ week)
Received interview through University. Both interviews were actually very simple. questions were about teamwork topics, overcoming obstacles, and general questions such as that,. None of the behavioural questions were too complicated. Make sure if you are interviewing for an internship, you persuade them that you are intent on going for your CPA and that you are intending on completing your 150 credits.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2+ weeks)
I was applying for an out of state office, but it seemed rather unorganized. I was first told that I was coming in for an office visit then received an email a week later saying it was a phone interview scheduled two weeks later. The interviewer for the phone interview seemed over worked and had to (understandably) postpone the interview a few minutes mid call. I also thought the questions were too open ended and not very well thought out.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Boston, MA (took a day)
The campus recruiter and on-campus presenters were very friendly and offered a lot of information and advice for the interview/hiring process. They were more than eager to talk to all candidates. Interviewers look for unique qualities in a candidate's resume. The actual interview felt more like a conversation than an exchange of questions and answers.

Mostly behavioral questions... Name a time when this situation happened and what did you do. This was a one on one interview on campus. The questions were not too bad. They seemed to be the standard ones. Name a problem you faced, an uncooperative group member etc..

You apply for a position through the campus representative. You submit your resume through your school's career website and through the PWC career website also. If you get chosen, your first round interview is on campus. They usually have a mid level to senior manager interview. They rarely have associates interviewing you.
The interviewer I interviewed with was very laid back. Some are more formal. However, they first go through your resume with you and you talk about some of your work experiences and leadership experiences. He asked me about my extra-circular activities as well. Then he asked why I want to get into public accounting. Apparently, they are supposed to ask you some behavioral questions about how well you work on a team and ask you about some situations when you worked on a team. But during my interview, he didn't really ask me those things. I wasn't sure why but we did spend a lot of time on my resume so maybe that's why. And then we ended with me asking him two questions.
Their second round interview is an office visit. You should indicate your location choice during the interview. You can choose locations that aren't near your school. And if you get chosen for a second round interview, you interview at that office location that you choose.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in New York, NY (took 4 weeks)
I recieved my first interview at a conference. It was with an HR manager, she was very friendly and personable. She told me about her history with the firm, then looked over my resume and asked questions about working as group or team and leadership experience.
When I went to the New York superday the group of us got to listen and ask questions to a panel of employees then had 3, 1 on 1 interviews and ended the day with lunch. Everyone was helpful and answered all the questions I had. From my impression it's a very competative atmosphere but everyone seems to genuinely enjoy working for the company.
My advice would be to research the company, practice interview questions, and have questions of your own to ask. Also try and show through your answers that you can lead, work well as a team, and are highly motivated.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 months)
Went to Meet the Firms where I met some associates as well as the partner. Had a pre-interview dinner at a very nice restaurant downtown which was very fun and memorable. Had an on-campus interview with senior manager in November who happened to be an alumni. She was really easy going and fun to talk to. No serious questions about job/school activities, mostly went over what happened at socials and dinner as well as old memories about going to school. Received invite to office visit 2 weeks later for January visit. They paid for hotel room for the night before office visit which included a goodies bag. Office visit was not very intense but made me quite nervous. Had two 1:1 interview, one with senior manager and HR manager. Senior manager asked more behavioral questions where as HR manager asked about school and career plans. Then went to networking activity, lunch, and tour of downtown.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 3 weeks)
First had an on campus interview with a senior manager that lasted 30 minutes...mainly just talked with a behavioral question thrown in. Was accepted for in office interviews where I interviewed for 30 minutes with a manager and another 30 minutes with a partner. Nothing out of the ordinary and everyone was very kind. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
