Interviewed Jan 2012 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
The PwC recruiter e-mailed me one day asking if I would like to do a phone interview because they are short of tax intern this year. Most of the questions are pretty typical. Behavioral questions and all. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and the recruiter said that he would give me a response by the end of the day, but then I didn't receive any reply then I sent an e-mail asking if there is any update, but no reply on that either. Overall, the interview itself is not a difficult process. They do try to make you feel comfortable and make it more conversational but I personally feel it is highly unprofessional how they handle people they declined.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Boston, MA (took a day)
Both first and second round interviews were all fit - no cases. They only give cases to MBA candidates. They asked why consulting, go through your resume, etc. Asked when was a time that you faced an ethical dilemma and what did you do about it?
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
They extended offers way early in recruiting season; no chance to interview with other firms.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Wichita, KS (took a day)
Very impolite. He started by saying this would be a general meet and greet and would provide me the job description as well as a general overview of the company. Then he asked me if I was willing to travel to which I said yes. The second question was whether I had the required authorization to work in the U.S. I said yes, but after seven months would need sponsorship to stay in the U.S. He just cut short his interview there and then, without asking any other questions. Surely a company that earns $29 billion can sponsor potential hires.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 4 weeks)
I sent my CV to the email address on their recruiting page. I got a phone call and email confirmation saying that they would like to invite me for an interview. In the first round, I Interviewed with their HR director, and then was escorted to another room to take competency test. After two week, they called back and invited me for a second round. This time I interviewed with their partner and service line director. Both interviews were very conversational. Just be able to talk about your experiences in a coherent way.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
Applied through school website, called in for two rounds of in-person interviews: first on campus, then in LA office. People and interviewers were very friendly (mostly behavioral interview, though during second rounds I was asked to read some Chinese words and presented with a hypothetical situation as to how I would go about obtaining information). Everyone was very encouraging, and a willingness to learn is heavily, heavily emphasized - almost even more so than actual 'smarts.' I ended up not getting the offer, and upon inquiry they said that I did not seem serious enough about the position, since I still seemed to be exploring.
