Interviewed Aug 2010 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
I was able to get an interview with the Valuations group within Assurance through a friend. A PwC recruiter called me for initial phone interview which lasted 30 min. Afterwards I was set up to go in and do one-on-one interviews. I interviewed with three Directors and one Manager. The Directors seemed very much wanting to sell you on the company and the interviews were more conversational than question answer. No technical questions. The Manager, however, went straight to resume and wanted to know more about past relevant experience. I did not get an offer and was not even contacted by recruiter or anybody. I only found out cause I emailed the recruiter who told me they are moving on with other candidates.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 days)
Someone came to my school to speak about the company and encouraged us to apply. I sent in my resume and was contacted to participate in a first-round personal interview on my campus. After that, they invited me to their office for a second-round interview with 3 different individuals for 30 minutes each.
In general, the questions were much more geared towards what kind of person you were and how strong your soft skills were, instead of technical skills and knowledge. After working here, I believe the Firm has an attitude that they can teach you the technical skills you will need and even coach your behavior, but they want to make sure you are the kind of person they would want to work with on their projects and they would feel comfortable putting in front of their clients.
Extra emphasis is placed on how comfortable and professional the person was. Oh, and table manners at the post-interview lunch and pre-interview dinner will be a factor, so be on your best behavior all the way until you completely leave the office.

Interviewed Jun 2008 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
I submitted my resume through a former colleague which helped me get in the door and get an interview. I interviewed with about three different people including the HR associate and a number of people within the department including a partner, a manager and an Associate. The interview questions were pretty standard and behavioral in nature.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
Initially I applied through the career website and was selected for an "on campus" interview. That consisted of a quick mini interview with an associate before the real interview with a manager. The interview for me was very laid back to my surprise but mostly because of the manager himself. After that I was selected for an "in house" interview which consisted of an interview with a partner, and two managers.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
So I got an interview with Pwc through my university by going to networking events and talking with recruiters. They called me in for an on campus 1 on 1 interview, and if they liked me they would call me in for an in-office interview, which I think was going to consist of 3 interviews with different managers. The lady i interviewed with was very nice and I met her a few days before at a dinner we had with Pwc, so I was somewhat acquainted with her. My interview was toward the end of the day after she had numerous other interviews, and I immediately got the sense that she was pretty over interviewing/ or has found the candidate she was looking for and no longer had a need to fill the position. She didn't really ask me any questions, she just chit-chatted for a while and I asked her more questions throughout the interview than she asked me. It was a very weird interview because it didn't contain any behavioral type questions the big 4 usually asks, and I had to really try to show skills and qualifications I had without it being awkward since she wasn't asking me any relevant questions. It was a very friendly conversation and I almost felt good after the interview because we had a nice conversation even though she didn't ask me any questions, so I kind of assumed she liked me. However, I did not get called back for 2nd interviews so I guess it wasn't the case. I'm pretty sure this isn't a very indicative interview of pwc since the one I had with Deloitte was much harder and had a lot of behavioral type questions which I imagine is what most Pwc interviews are like.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 days)
I went in for a first round interview at my university. The questions were very basic, mostly behavioral. I was asked about my past work experiences, some of my school activities, etc. For the second round, I was interviewed in the Los Angeles office. The second round was completely behavioral as well. I would prepare for this by having lots of examples of your organizational skills, leadership skills, and teamwork experience.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
went into a meeting room where they had lower level associates to mingle with you, afterwards I was ushered in to the interview room. We went over my resume, weaknesses, how would you handle group conflict, if there was ever a policy that I didn't agree with et cetera. I thought I did fantastic, but apparently not as I was not selected to continue. PwC people were great though.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
I found the internship through my school career fair and many of the accounting organization networking events. I submitted my resume through the school career center website. Got accepted for an interview. Was mostly behavior questions and 1 case study question. Afterward, I got invited a few days later to an inhouse interview. I had three informal interviews that day with managers/partners, back to back. Afterward, I got the job.
