Interviewed Nov 2010 in Boston, MA (took a day)
After a pre-interview networking night and an on-campus interview with a college recruiter, I was offered an office visit, the second-round interview. Over 50 candidates for Associate positions in Assurance (auditing), Tax, and Risk Assurance (or SPA) were invited to the PwC Boston Office. These candidates were broken into groups and first had an information session. A partner and a hiring manager spoke about the company, and then current employees rotated around groups to introduce themselves and told us about their work. Then there were three 1:1 interviews with managers and senior managers. The day was concluded by a cocktail networking session.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 3 weeks)
I found this interview not as hard as I thought it would be. My phone interview was with a director and it was quite technical (maybe because of my previous internal audit experience). I was invited to come into the office and meet with the partner, director, and an HR representative. It was a pleasant experience. The partner seemed very nice and allowed me enough time to explain my experiences. The director was very courteous and we had a great chat. The meeting with the HR rep was for them to determine if Assurance and PwC is really for me or not. That meeting went very well.
