Interviewed Apr 2012 in Melbourne (Australia) (took a day)
Very straightforward and typical process. PwC is the largest transactional consulting house in AU, so there is a large focus on overall polish and intellectual horsepower.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 6 weeks)
Applied on-line and got feedback within 1 week.
Firstly completed numeric and verbal reasoning tests on-line - pretty straight forward SHL type. Got feedback within 48 hours that I had passed this stage of the process.
Secondly completed HR telephone interview to check that I exhibited behaviors within the PwC core competencies. Got feedback within 72 hours that I had passed this stage of the process.
Next was a technical interview conducted face-to-face with 2 senior managers. I was asked to walk through my CV and detail experience in doing the same type of work that would be required within the role. I was also asked to list personal strengths and differentiators. Got feedback within 72 hours that I had passed this stage of the process.
Next was the assessment center which consisted of a written and a group exercise. There is no prep you can do for these exercises - time management is the key!

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Boston, MA (took 1 week)
Initially had 2 one-on-one interviews with Directors or Senior Directors. One was a behavior interview, the other was a "mini-case" which he described as just a conversation about the case. Typical stuff, nothing out of the ordinary.
Second round was 3 one-on-one interviews with Partners in the service line. One was a case (again more of a conversation about a business problem and how I would respond to it), the other two were strictly behavioral.
Unfortunately, the HR department choose Sunday night at 9PM to call me and let me know there would not be an offer. Separate emails for post-interview feedback were ignored. While the interviewing process was good, these incidents left a seriously foul taste in my mouth.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Kiev (Ukraine) (took 3 weeks)
Got invitation to test in a month from application on-line. The test comprised three sections: English, Critical reasoning and Quantitive (15 m / 45 m / 30 m). In a week after 1st test I had been invited to the skills test, where basic corporate finance knowledge was tested. Next two rounds where 1:1 interviews with a Manager and a Partner. Offer was given in the end of the last interview.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took 2 weeks)
The process was slick and efficient; i was competing against another top 4 firm and this lot moved quickly and assuredly to hire me. There was no written test, which was surprising, but all of the cogs which needed to move did so. In the time I took to have 3 interviews and be offered an interview I had only had one with the other lot - the external facing HR were very good and supported the partner well. The interview was focussed on my interests and skills, and was more conversational than probing. It also introduced me to a range of people in different grades and gave me a good insight into what the firm was like; the firm was sold to me as strongly as I needed to sell myeslf to it.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Mumbai (India) (took 3 months)
There were 2 rounds of interview, 1st with Managing Consultant and than with Partner. Both were very informal with most questions being on personal experience and previous projects handled. They also discussed briefly on what will be my exact role and kind of projects, i will handle
Each Interv iew lasted for 30-45 minutes and there were no case questions or puzzles etc. Also there was no situation based questions like. So it was pity much straight forward interview with questions on past experience and an opening personal question "tell me about yourself"

Negotiation Details
There is very little scope of negotiations with average increase being around 5-10%. Obviously it will also depend on the base salary and how desperate PWC is in getting you on board.
Overall, they do not sway too much from their initial offer
Also, it took almost 2 weeks for them to roll out the offer after i got verbal confirmation. Negotiation was done with the HR person and talks with Partner was not really helpfull in negotiations
