the interview was for the job profile given above. the interview was consist of two rounds out of which one was taken over the phone followed by personal interview by HR manager to assess the communication and personality aspects.
background check was also conducted by the same trough calling to the referees.

I handed a CV to the Customer Service desk at my local Primark and received a call 2 weeks later inviting me for an interview. On the day of the interview I was asked basic questions such as, "why do you want to work for primark?" which were relatively generic and easy to answer. I was offered the job a few days later and accepted.

I was interviewed by a female supervisor and she seemed very nice. I thought the interview went overall smoothly, she asked me very easy questions.
My tip is just be confident, explain (and show if possible) that you are very hardworking person. Don't tell them about the negatives, but more positives the better.
