Interviewed Feb 2011 in Cincinnati, OH (took 5+ months)
The initial step was the online application. Immediately following this, I took a personality assessment which consisted of several hundred questions. After this, there was a quick reasoning test. Fairly straightforward, just pay attention. A month or two after that, I got a call about doing a phone interview. A few weeks later, I did the phone interview and aced it - it's very typical situational leadership/personality questions. A few weeks later, I got asked to come up for a day visit. At the day visit, I was given a more rigorous IQ type test followed by a panel interview with two senior scientists. Just be sure to nerd out and don't be afraid to go into excruciating detail into what you know. After that was a drug test and that's it. An offer was made that very day before I left.

Negotiation Details
I didn't accept the offer on the spot because I wanted to negotiate. I was able to raise my offer by about $2k. It wasn't as high as I wanted, but I took it at that point. My advice is to start HIGH. The worst they can say is no, which if they do, you just come back down slowly. If you passed the hiring process, it means they want you, they think you'll be a valuable contribution to the company. Don't be afraid to push back.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test, a Personality Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 4 months)
I applied online and completed two assessments. I received a phone call two months later informing me that I was selected for a phone interview. The interviewer asked situational/behavioral interview questions. The interview lasted for an hour. I advise anyone seeking employment with P&G to prepare well for their interview. I read several books of interview questions and practiced with friends beforehand. A few months later a P&G representative called to inform me that the company announced a hiring freeze :(.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 months)
After applying online, I went to as many college events as possible and spoke to one of the recruiters about my resume. I was called for an interview a couple of days before the college job fair. After my interview it was more than a month before I heard back from the company, scheduling a second interview.

Interviewed Oct 2008 in Ohio, IL (took a day)
The person interviewing me did not have any idea of what my bachelor's degree consisted of. He was a Mechanical Engineer who kept asking questions about how would I apply my chemistry knowledge to the overall process of making baby products.
Questions on the interview were assessing my capability to function as a leader and in groups.
