Interviewed Apr 2010 in Melbourne (Australia) (took a day)
Got the interview invitation soon after I submitted the application. When came to the interview a receptionist (BTW, an incredibly nice person) offered me a drink and asked to wait for the interviewer.
After 5-10 minutes I was invited to the meeting room for a face-to-face interview. I was explained the situation and problems they currently face as well as the details about the business.
After that we went briefly through my experience.
Then we started to discuss how I could help the company and I offered number of solutions to help with.
Next day I got the offer.
Overall, the interview felt very informal and very open. The interviewer knew exactly what he needs and was able to determine how I could fit there.
Negotiation Details
Negotiation is possible as long as you are a good fit and your requirements are reasonable.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.
