Interviewed Sep 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
The interview process is simply behavioral interviews where they are really just looking to gain an understanding of your personality and how you would fit in with their company. The interviewers are very easy to talk to and ask the most basic behavioral questions, both of my interviewers asked a couple of them and then moved on to questions about myself.

Interviewed Mar 2008 in Chicago, IL (took 3 days)
The first day i had an interview with the head of HR. She ased me basic behavioral questions. If they liked you there would be a second day interview which follows directly after the first day.
The second day interview was with a director from the company. He asked me a few behavioral questions but it was mainly just being able to hold a conversation, it was very relaxed.

Interviewed Dec 2007 in Chicago, IL (took 2 months)
Found Protiviti at my college job fair. Dropped off my resume with them. Was invited to interview on campus, interviewed with a senior manager at the firm. Passed the interview and was invited for an office visit. Invited for a 2nd round with a Managing Director, passed and got to do an office visit for culture fit. Overall everyone was really nice, they are testing to see that you are driven, and as all behavioral interviews to see what you've done in the past to see if you fit at Protiviti.

Interviewed May 2007 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
As a referral, the interview process was fairly simple. An initial phone screen was conducted to evaluate my background and interest in the company. A follow-up interview was scheduled the following week. The follow-up consisted of 3 interviews: HR, Director, and Managing Director. All interviews were mainly behavioral based, not necessarily focused on skills.
