Interviewed Feb 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
I met the Manager of financial services at a carer fair. I was contacted within a day or two. I had a phone interview, skill test (electronic, online, about 1 hour), Personality test (electronic, online, about 1 hour), and situational/sales skill test (over the phone, about 15 minutes). After these tests, there was a panel interview 2:1. I was required to compile and proved an electronic list of 200 potential clients. I didn't do this. I told the interviewers I was not comfortable providing the contact details of my friends, family, and professional contacts, electronically. They let me show them a paper list, which I kept possesion of. Next, I was brought into the regional office, to interview with three people 1:1. I was offerd the position. Took a drug test and consented to a background check. Was offered the position and took it. The manager gets the results of these tests immediately. The sales skill test is done by a thrid party, firm; but the Pru manger listens in.
