Interviewed Jan 2012 in Bellevue, WA (took a day)
Not a very difficult interview. Though it was for a technical position, most of the questions were non-technical in nature. I guess they determine that a candidates technical skills are a match before they even bring you in for an interview. Questions were mostly behavioral; describe a situation in your career where you experience this... Interviewers were friendly enough.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Bellevue, WA (took 1 week)
Phone interview was standard. I was contacted by the hiring manager. The in person interview was conducted by two people, the hiring manager and his boss. The first question they asked was how political was it at my last job. They like to drill on that quite a bit, it was somewhat uncomfortable because the interview was mostly about my last employer not about me.
They called me back to decline on the basis of someone they had already promoted into the postion and that they should not have interviewed me at all.
I discussed this situation with a number of people and they expressed similar occurrences in their interviews with PSE. There is a growing population of people that feel hiring at PSE is bait and switch for their entertainment. If you are a qualified candidate, don't waste your time.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Bothell, WA (took 2 weeks)
Initial communication was via an application online and then I had received a phone call from HR to interview for the position. The initial phone interview was with the hiring manager and it went very well. The following panel interview was extremely structured and there were 10 questions divided among the manager and two subordinates. The questions were developed from a script. The downside I felt is that the manager took his time to get back to people and there were at least two delays. The second "update" said he'd get back to the candidates tomorrow and then two days passed and nothing til Thursday. In retrospect, I am glad I did not get the job because the experience speaks highly of a manager who needs to be more respective of others' time and potential offers/opportunities.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 2 weeks)
Initial phone screen with the hiring manager of IT department, which lasted for approximately 30 minutes. Questions focused on how I would use my experience to succeed in this position, my understanding of corporate finance, and my knowledge of excel. Hiring manager was very nice and professional. His administrative assistant contacted me within a week to schedule an in-office 1:1 interview.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Bellevue, WA (took a day)
Very informal interview. Fact based questions based on resume and then behavioral questions like if you have a problem with your team member, how do you handle it? I was first contacted by email for scheduling the interview appointment. That followed with the telephonic interview. Since I did not pass it, I don't know what the future steps are.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Bellevue, WA (took 3 months)
I submitted my resume online in response to a current job announcement. I was contacted approximately three months later via email and asked to participate in a phone interview. Approximately five days after the phone interview I was contacted and invited to come to the Bellevue office for an interview. The interview consisted of four managers and a technician. The interview lasted approximately one-hour and was a good experience. Approximately one week following the interview I was notified that another candidate had been offered the position.
