Phone screen to see if I was a good fit and full day visit. For the full day visit I was introduced to staff, I gave a presentation of usability analysis of the website, then a group of them sat at a table and took turns asking me questions. They took me to lunch. Typical general interview questions (tell us about a time you failed, tell us about your work ethic) plus technical questions (explain MVC) and questions about what web technologies I knew. (PHP, Json, Jquery, Linux). I was asked to send examples of my code to them afterwards.

annual recruited graduate students should be around 50, not all of them got funding.

My "interview" was very informal. Once I was accepted to the graduate school, a professor saw my application and contacted me because he had a research position opening. We discussed my interests and abilities over the phone briefly (though he already knew these because he had my graduate application) and then he described his research. He offered me the position at the end of our hour long conversation. I accepted the position about 1 week later.

Showed up the night before the Interview and stayed at the University hotel (very nice) and the interview started at 8am the next day. The Interview lasted until 4pm and I met/interviewed with 6 different groups of people, students, faculty, administrators, etc. The interview went well with the exception of lack of experience for the position.
