Interviewed Aug 2010 in Raleigh, NC (took 3 weeks)
The interview process was fairly uncomplicated, high technical and conceptual. I had 3 telephone interviews and 1 on-site interview with Qualcomm. I had to cover all basic material, advanced concepts, know everything that is written on my resume, as well as a general knowledge about allied and related concepts

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took 3 months)
Phone screen took a week to set up. Then another 3 weeks to schedule in-person interview. Qualcomm paid for one night hotel stay plus mileage. Interviewed with six different people in four different buildings which I had to find and drive to. There are around 40 different Qualcomm buildings in the vicinity. Lunch time is no time to relax as you're being interviewed there. It's not easy answering technical questions while trying to eat at the same time. The last interview was with an HR person. After the interview it took 2 months before I heard their decision to not to extend an offer.
