Interviewed Nov 2011 in West Chester, PA (took 3 weeks)
Thorough phone screening to confirm and elaborate on resume. On site interview with hiring manager and 2 members of the team. A 2nd interview included meeting recruiter, 2nd level manager and a panel of supervisors of teams project manager would interact with. Everyone was prepared and questions were appropriate, detailed and built on information in resume and from previous answers. Was able to ask questions and got a good feel for the company, environment and opportunities.

Had no problem with the hiring process. HR woman was very polite and asked questions that were appropriate to the job.

Reason for Declining
My issue had everything to do with salary. Being a company as large as QVC...being located in an area such as West Chester PA....you would think for a photographer with over 10 years experience they could get their salary out of the LOW 30's range. IF I took the position at that wage, living in that area, I would be living like a college student and be in debt fast. Mind you it wasn't true photography, more just recording subjects on white if you will. Pump them out as fast as possible shoot them over to the team to clean them up and send to web. Even still a company that size , in that area...the salary was an insult.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in West Chester, PA (took 3 months)
Everyone I met with was extremely positive and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job and the culture of the company. I met with roughly 12 people total throughout the interview process and each person was more informative and more welcoming the next. The recruiter was extremely professional in always keeping me updated as to the next status in the process since the entire interviewing process did take quite some time.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in West Chester, PA (took 5 weeks)
Postive perception of the company based on the recruiter and in person interview. Recruiter was upbeat and represented the company well. Folks I interviewed with were very positive about working at QVC and spoke highly of the company...their stories were consistent through each set of interviews. I had a 15 minute phone interview with the recruiter first and then an in person panel interviews with two sets of panels. Campus and building was very attractive.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in West Chester, PA (took a day)
Interview was 6 hours at Studio Park. Met with HR first who did some paperwork and prelim questions for forms. She then escorted me to the first of 3 sessions. First with hiring manager which last 2 hours and was very open and engaging, then with team I would working on which lasted 2 hours and ranged from detailed technology to social to working style to kinds of food I eat and, then to the Manager of the organization that I would be primarily supporting.
This Manager took no time it telling me all the faults she sees/saw with the Technology group and asked about how i supported non-Technology initiatives in the past. After an hour of talking with her, HR tapped on the door. Her parting comment to me was "go elsewhere because the technology guys here are not interested in helping the Business so they will either break you or pigeon hole you if you try to help me, good luck".
HR then finished up with "we'll get back to you". When I asked he about the perception of Technology in the company she said it was like everywhere else she had been "love & hate".
Took 2 weeks to get the "thanks for coming in but ..." call

Interviewed Jun 2008 in West Chester, PA (took a day)
The interview did not go well, primarily because the interviewer made it very clear that someone internally was already chosen for the job, but she was interviewing me simply because she had to. i would have much rather been told this before hand, rather than wasting my time for the interview. She could have at least pretended to be interested in her questions. She made me feel very uncomfortable.
