I was interviewed by the Marketing and Data Manager. The structure of the interview was very scripted, something I haven't experienced before. Both interviewers just fired out questions from a list and didn't deviate from this.

The interviewers were very unfriendly so I felt very uncomfortable throughout the interview. They seemed very inexperienced in how to get the best out of an interviewee. The job was in Marketing/PR so I was quite surprised at their austere approach. At one point I felt as though I was in an interview for the Apprentice position with Alan Sugar - not really the appropriate approach for a Marketing Exec position.

Before I received any feedback from QVC I contacted the recruiter and said, if offered I wouldn't be interested in going back for a second interview.

The experience was extremely negative and it's put me off buying anything from the company now. It's ironic that the interviewers worked in the marketing team as their unprofessional approach won't be doing much good for the QVC brand!
