Declined to respond without more information, or a better question set-up. Response was something like, "That's a fascinating situation and question, and I myself would like to know how that worked out, but without more information or background, I'd be guessing at what my response would have been. I guess what I'd like the group to know is that in an instance such as this, I'd seek out more information and advice from people better connected to the situation. I certainly wouldn't make a knee-jerk decision without the benefit of the wisdom of those more closely involved."
