Interviewed Dec 2010 in Detroit, MI (took 4 weeks)
There were a lot of off the wall interview questions. Most of the panel wanted to know about my skills but the manager was a different story. He Asked things like: How many green SUVs are in that parking structure?

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 2 days)
I was contacted by a recruiter for the company after I submitted an online application. We set up a day & time that he would do a phone interview. He was very accomodating to fit it into my work schedule. The phone interview went really well, he asked me several times if I was "okay" with certain things...like working weekends. My perception is that it's a good company to work for, the people are excited about what they do...not sure if it's for me yet though.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 5 days)
The interview process began with a recruiter reaching out to me through the phone, we talked for a short time, he asked simply why quicken loans, and why I would be a good addition to the team, then set up a 1-1 interview. The first interview was with the recruiter asking certain situational questions, then after he called to set up a second interview with two of the team leaders, each team leader was a separate interview. They will get back to you the day of the second interview to let you know whether you have gotten the job or not

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 2 weeks)
Was called in response to my online application. Was asked a few questions about goals and such over the phone which was pretty much a very brief and informal phone interview. Asked to come in for a 1v1 with the recruiter. Questions were pretty standard "tell me a time when you ______" and ended with a mock sales call about cable service. The second interview was a few days later and bit more intense with two of the team leaders (separate interview with each team lead). They asked some of the same questions as the first interview, but were clearly more focused on trying to determine if you would fit on their team. Received an verbal offer over the phone the following morning, and it turned into a written offer once background checks came back.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 2 weeks)
Got a call from a recruiter who just went over what the job entails and then scheduled a one on one interview which happened 3 days later. Met with the recruiter for a one on one interview that lasted about an hour. Asked basic questions about how competitive I was and went over my resume. This was followed by a mock sales call, and then I got asked to come back to interview with a team leader 2 days later. Met with two team leaders over the span of two hours. They really just ask you to sell yourself to them to make sure that you are a good fit for the position. Overall it was a very relaxed interview. I received a verbal offer the next day. The only thing that I thought took a little too long was the background check which lasted well over a week.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 2 weeks)
The recruiter called me from an employee referral and asked some basic questions about why I was interested in the job. Once my credit score was ran I was invited in for an interview with the recruiter the next week. It last about an hour talking about skills and experiences. There was also a mock sales call regarding cable services. Two days later I got a call to be interviewed by some team leaders that was set up for 2 days later. It last 30 minutes and was a little more intense, but only as a means to see how much you can sell yourself and how serious you are about the position. The following Monday I was called and offered the position.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 2 weeks)
phone interview, then background check - passed so on to one on one interview in person with recruiter - he tried to talk me out of it by emphasizing the extra long hours and low starting pay, then was asked to sell cable TV services over the phone to another team leader, next step is to meet with two other team leaders at a later date.

Interviewed May 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 3 weeks)
On their website I filled out an inquiry requesting an interview, and the next day a banker called me to set up an interview. Before I could schedule an interview however they had to run my credit score, once it came back acceptable the banker set up an one on one interview with me in the headquarters. During the first interview they asked questions about experiences and told me to describe times when I didn't give up on a task after facing a difficulty, a time when I had to be persuasive and what peaked my interest in quicken. After that I had to make a mock sales call about a cable service. The second interview was similar, except instead of the mock phone interview, I had to sell something in the room to the hiring manager.
