I can't really remember all the details but the interview wasn't too long. After I was hired I had orientation for a few hours. Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Greenville, SC Jul 2012 – Reviewed Feb 20, 2013
Interview Details – Quiktrip only hires about 2% of their applicants they receive. They are very selective about whom they hire. If you are considering applying, they will expect you to pass a Math aptitude test (because of how they operate their registers) and having prior knowledge of what Quiktrip is is VERY crucial. If you think Quiktrip is "just another gas station or convenience store" then you have already failed. Quiktrip sets the high standard when it comes to quality & friendliness.
Interview Question – They will just ask you direct questions about you & work ethics. Nothing I felt was difficult or outlandish. Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Belton, MO Dec 2012 – Reviewed Feb 15, 2013
Interview Details – They ask questions like "do like working alone or with people?" "how many times can a person miss work or be late?" and "describe a situation you had a conflict with a co-worker and how you handled it." I later found out that for every position they interview 10 people and pick the most personable one.
Interview Question – For me its always "describe a conflict and how you handled it." question that i take my time to answer. Overall the interviewer made was warm and friendly. Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Denton, TX Sep 2012 – Reviewed Sep 26, 2012
Interview Details –
I applied online and about two weeks later I received a call to come into the corporate office to take a test. For anyone in the DFW Metroplex, the corporate office in Euless. Once there, the receptionist sent me into a room to take a math test over how much change to give back customers. There was also some more paperwork to fill out. Afterwards, I was sent to another room to watch a 10 minute video on working for the company. Thirty minutes after I left, I received a call for an interview the following day.
The interview was a normal structured interview by a guy who's normally a store manager. He asked the basic questions (Why QT, How you would deal with difficult customers, Describe another job where you had to stand on your feet for long periods of time, etc.) and it lasted about 15 minutes. I was given a coupon for a free drink and a letter saying it could be up to two weeks to hear back one way or the other, but received a call the following day asking if I could start orientation at the same building the following Monday.
