Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Tulalip, WA – Reviewed Feb 11, 2013
Interview Details – I applied online and received an almost immediate response, and made an appointment to come into the store for a small group interview. The process was very laid back and relaxed, with the interviewers being very nice and informal. We were taken around and shown the store and did some new hire orientation the same night and we were introduced to the employees there.

No Offer – Interviewed in Costa Mesa, CA Jul 2012 – Reviewed Jan 16, 2013
Interview Details – Got a call about a week after applying online. I know other people have said to dress casually probably in Quicksilver attire, so I wore a Quiksilver shirt with a a dress shirt over it as well as skinny black jeans. Got there and waited for the manager where we moved to another location of the mall . Pretty basic questions of why do you want to work here, what qualifies you. Overall simple interview. Didn't get an offer however, but could be due to lack of work experience.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY – Reviewed Jan 14, 2013
Interview Details – Group interview for seasonal position. Went around the room sharing a two facts about ourselves. Then asked questions about why Quiksilver, an interesting sales experience we've had and what could we contribute to the team. Pretty much just looking for people who aren't shy or awkward and could carry a conversation. We also had to do a mock sales pitch and sell another persons outfit. Got a call about an hour after the interview.
Interview Question – Doing the sales pitch was unexpected. Answer Question

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Huntington Beach, CA Apr 2011 – Reviewed Jan 12, 2012
Interview Details – Applying for a position at a company like quicksilver was relatively laid back. After the initial online questions /survey and essay you just have to wait for an answer to come back. I was fortunate to receive a call less then 2 days later. I spoke with an employee who would laterbe the interviewer. He was probably in his mid 20s and was extremely laid back but still maintained a professional appeal. In the 1 on 1 interview he asked me basic questions; what do you like to do for fun, tell me about yourself, why quicksilver, and one interesting question... If you could be trapped in one object, what would it be? And how would you get out? The interview process was actually enjoyable and I ( being the outgoing and friendly person I am) found the interview to be exciting and fun. Quiksilver has an awesome building.
Interview Question – Why Quiksilver? View Answer
Reason for Declining – Was offered a position at a start up company and thought the start up would be more beneficial for me down the road. I knew I could learn more at a start up and take those skills anywhere rather than learn at Quiksilver where I may have been pigeon holed into one job task.
Declined Offer – Interviewed in Huntington Beach, CA Jan 2011 – Reviewed Nov 29, 2011
Interview Details – The interview was very short and very casual. The interviewer asked me three basic questions (i.e., Why Quiksilver?) and then extended an offer to me on the spot. I asked him a few questions about the position/duties and he couldn't answer any of them. Shortest interview I've ever had.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY May 2009 – Reviewed Sep 12, 2011
Interview Details – I went in with an idea of the kind of employee they were looking for. A few of my friends were also working there at the time. The interview process was the smoothest I had ever been to up until that time. It is important to just be yourself. My interviewer was also a college grad student, so connecting based on the closeness of age and on familiar topics was what really made me stand out and let her see that I am a good team worker and do not alienate myself in a team environment.
Interview Question – Can you give me an example of a time when you showed leadership? Answer Question
Declined Offer – Interviewed in Huntington Beach, CA Mar 2010 – Reviewed Mar 19, 2010
Interview Details – What a mess this company is! I know we all need a job right now... but avoid this place if you can. I went on an interview and decided not to take the position. HR calls me a week later and leaves a message on my machine trying to get me to come in and interveiw... for the same position!!!! I think that they are over worked... but wow. HR completely didnt know that I had already met with the hiring manager a week before.

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Huntington Beach, CA Jan 2009 – Reviewed Mar 25, 2009
Interview Details – There was one simple strait to the point interview. Discussued basics of job description and exactly what would be expected. Companies overall culture is very relaxed (T-shirt, shorts, sandles all completly acceptable and actually encouraged (very cool)). Office environment is really cool with tons of memorabelia posted on walls and they have a very clean working enviromment.

Negotiation Details –
Very Strait foward, no BS, no games. Hiring managers were very strait with what was expected aa well as what on the table.
Advice? Company is fair and forthcoming but my advise is; prove you have game and the rest will follow.
Awesome culture if you want to be part of the leading act within the surf industry!
