Interviewed Jul 2010 in Durham, NC (took a day)
Was very laid back and conversational. Focused on behavioral interviewing (aka situational interviewing). Not a lot of pressure at all.

Interviewed May 2011 in Durham, NC (took 4 weeks)
After initial application I was invited to complete a phone interview and then a second phone interview. I was then invited to complete an onsite interview in Durham, NC. This entire process took about 3-4 weeks. The interveiw was completed by two of their managers in the area of the job opening. The interveiwers were very pleasant and asked appropriate questions. Interviewed May 2011 in Morrisville, NC (took 1 week)
I applied on Quintiles Web site and next day I got email from one of the Programming Manager from Quintiles for a phone screen and I scheduled it for same day.
Phone Interview( duration 30 min.): Mostly talked about my past experience and work style not much technical. Manager was very calm and explained the job profile and duties expected.
Next day itself I got email from her for 1:1 interview at NC office. As I was an outstation candidate so they arranged for the travel.
1:1 interview( duration 4 hours) : 1:1 interview started with Director and followed by 2 manager and leads one by one each for half an hour.after one and half hour two programmers form the team took me to cafeteria for lunch where they again kind interviewed me casually over lunch and after that another round of half hour sessions with other 4 managers and leads.
Questions were more or less same and mostly based on your past experience and your style of working all the people were really friendly and take good time to answer your questions and also ask generous and sensible questions.
All in all it went fine. but the most frustrating part was when they took almost 5 weeks to extend an offer which I finally accepted.

Interviewed May 2011 in Raleigh, NC (took 2 months)
I was contacted 5 months ago by a Quintiles manager. She explained this was for a CRA position for their Amgen contract. Positions were posted sometime early April, I was contacted again to apply. I had a screening interview, a personality/skills test, phone interview and then flown to NC for a final interview. Overall, terribly disappointed in what I thought was a great company. I was not contacted and told I had not received the job and neither the Quintiles manager who recruited me nor one of my interviewers responded to my email asking if the positions had been filled. Very disappointed in the process. I don't think I'll apply for another job with Quintiles again.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Durham, NC (took a day)
Quintiles posted a job opening on my university's career services sit, and I applied throught the Quintiles website. I had 2 30 minute interviews. Both were mostly behavioral with a few general case questions. The first interviewer explained the position as well. The second interviewer told me flat out that I hadn't really connected the dots to show them that I could do the job.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Durham, NC (took a day)
I was interviewed by 7 people, and the process took approximately 3-4 hours. You need to be able to answer questions such as "what are 2 of your weaknesses." But, all-in-all, it was a relatively pressure-free process.

Interviewed Oct 2007 in Morrisville, NC (took 3 days)
Got a call from HR rep to arrange first interview with hiring manager. Met with hiring manager for an hour.
Hiring manager explained duties and responsibilities and outlined expectations. I got ample time and opportunity to ask questions about the position. Very pleasant first interview. Explained that there would be 2 other interviews with senior management before final decision was made.
Arranged interview with AD which concentrated mainly in my skill sets and a further explanation of what they new roles will be. Went well.
Arranged for interview with Director. This felt more like a personality test. Was fairly relaxed and we talked about various experiences that had led me to the current point. very pleasant.
