Stay away from some of the accounts there. Know which account you're going in for, and don't go through outside or their in-house recruiters; they're not very informed.

Interviewed Feb 2008 (took 2 weeks)
Came on board for a freelance job and so there was a trial period before a permalance position was offered on a project basis. Its been 2.5 years and I still haven't been offered a full time position, the projects have been non stop and the work has been relentless.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in New York, NY (took 4 weeks)
I actually applied two different times on their online job portal since I wasn't being contacted the first time. Finally, an HR person got back to me and schedule a phone interview with a direct manager. Interview lasted almost an hour. I got word only after following up with them that they wanted me to come in for in-person interviews. The interviews consisted of five 30-minutes one-on-one's. Most people seemed really nice. Open space. I thought the interviews went very well. After being dodged by the recruiter a few times, I finally was told that I wasn't a good fit. The most annoying part was that after you take time out to interview with this company, they don't have the courtesy to let you know. I even asked them after the interviews if I'd be contacted EITHER WAY, and the HR person said definitely. If I hadn't been persistent in contacting them for an answer, I'm positive I'd still be waiting right now.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in New York, NY (took 1 week)
I applied online and then was asked for a group/panel interview. They were running a bit late, about 20 minutes, and it would have been nice if they had acknowledged that, but they didn't. Still, that is common for ad agencies so no big deal.
The office seemed nice, modern, open spaces. However, as soon as the interview began, it felt very chaotic. Many of the people I was supposed to meet with were not able to make it, and the ones that did interview me seemed to be a bit confused about who I was and why I was there.
We also had difficulty in communicating, as they seemed to only want to ask me about things that were a) unrelated to the job function, or b) overly complex theoretical questions that almost anyone would have problems answering without advance preparation. It felt to me to be more of a process of them showing how much more they knew than me, rather than getting to know me as a person, or if I would fit in. So in that way, I felt the interview was a bit pointless. In a word, the whole interview was extremely awkward. I was not able to say or ask 90% of what I wanted.
I would say that 25% of the people I spoke with were very nice and seemed to be genuinely interested in the interview process and finding good people, while the other 75% were a bit distracted and not wanting to be there (as evidenced by their disengaged body language throughout the interview). Overall, I felt very disappointed because it seemed that I was never really given a chance to have a good interview because the process they used was so flawed. They promised to get back to me, and I have been waiting now for 3+ months. Obviously, I didn't get the job. But to communicate that would have been professional, not to mention courteous.

Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed Jul 2009 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
I would have to say this was the most bizarre interview experience I've had throughout my years in the industry.
After a high-level creative recommended me for the position I completed a series of phone and video conference interviews with parties from all departments. The people were great and we had some fabulous conversations.
Throughout the process I worked with a single HR contact who was great in coordinating all the conferences, however after about 3wks and 4 interviews she was fired. At that time another HR associate contacted me and provided me with the details of the offer. We negotiated and came to a deal that was scheduled to be delivered on that Friday, about two days after our final conversation.
I have YET to hear from anyone at the company. I followed up with both the HR department and my contacts within and no one has an answer. I was just left hanging and not one person ever contacted me to tell me anything about why the offer was never delivered.
It was completely disrespectful - if this is how they treat people they are recruiting, I can't imagine the disregard they have for actual employees.
