Interviewed May 2010 in Rochester, NY (took a day)
I was asked to submit a proposal for my work, and expected to have both a timeline and budget ready by the time of the interview. I completed each before my proposal was requested, but I doubt any of the material was read. While I can't deny the amazing opportunity working with such a world class institution as RIT, I did expect the caliber of respect to be a little higher.

Negotiation Details
I was told that negotiations would be allowed, but this ended up not being the case in the end. Mostly an issue of not being organized enough to allow for flexibility. I mainly blame the office management for this.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Rochester, NY (took 2 months)
I had an initial phone interview with a panel, and was called back to interview with the group a second time on campus. I studied their job description and developed q/a responses based on what they were looking for. The first interview was about 30 minutes, it was challenging being only on the phone as I like to connect with people and body language. The second interview was in person with a panel of individuals.

Interview process was straightforward, talked with a manager and an engineer for about an hour, went on tour of the facility. Asked general questions about classes, general software engineering questions about inheritance and other topics. Asked what non school or work related computer programming I tried.
