I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at RVM in October 2013.
Interview Details – I was contacted by the recruiting manager for a phone interview. The interview lasted about 1 hour with questions about my work history and the industry. Pretty straight forward. A week later, I was called in for a face to face interview with the department lead. Interview lasted for about another hour and a half with situational questions.
Interview Question – I didn't seem to have a difficult question. View Answer
I applied online and the process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at RVM in May 2012.
Interview Details – The process was disjointed since the position wasn't necessarily in anyone's department, so there seemed to be some confusion over who should be leading the process.
Interview Question – I don't recall. It was a pretty straightforward interview process. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I didn't negotiate much.
I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at RVM in September 2012.
Interview Details – I applied online and got an email from the HR Manager a few days later requesting a phone interview. We scheduled the interview. She cancelled a few hours before due to an emergency meeting. We rescheduled for the following week. She cancelled same day due to a family emergency. She then went on vacation for a week. We finally had the phone interview the week after she got back. It sounded like she was reading off a script of questions. It was very bland and not at all conversational. There was no deviation from or follow-on questions based on any of my answers which is odd to me. There was nothing unexpected or especially difficult about what she asked. I didn't get a good feel for her or the company and wasn't that interested in the role after the call. I got the standard "thanks, but no thanks" email about 3 weeks later. The position that I applied to was a Recruiting Director position. The position was reposted a few weeks later as a Recruiter. Sounds like they're not sure what they're looking for.
